Bike “Walk” Button

The bike walk button is placed across a vehicle turn lane from where the bike lane is located. This presents the cyclist with two options: sit in the bike lane and wait for a vehicle or pedestrian to trip the light, or place himself in the incorrect and unsafe lane in order to press the button.
